Last saturday night i went to play soccer with some youth from the youth group. i had a ton of fun, but i realize now, i think God was trying to teach me about thinking before doing. The way that we got out to the field was by piling 14 people into a 3 person pick-up truck. I am fine with riding in the back of a truck, but going in the middle of the night speeding down a highway definitely made me feel very uncomfortable. I think God was trying to teach me a little something by doing that, i can't remember the last time that i felt that uneasy. To me it was such a weird experience, but to everybody else who was in the truck with me, it was normal, a day to day experience. I can surely say, I learned from that experience ;).
Also, on sunday the bank cancelled my bank card. Thankfully i took out a little bit of money beforehand, but at this moment, I am awaiting a new debit card to come in the mail. Something that may take a while. I do have a visa but i'm going to stay away from that as much as possible. I think though this God is trying to teach me to be more careful with my money. It's not that i wasn't before, but maybe to just think before i buy things and remember my budget. Lets hope this card comes quickly!!
God has been very gracious in the last couple days. A few days ago i got sick, and thankfully, though prayer and the aid of medicine, i am better now. ( i hope! ) It shows me that God has got me in his hands and that he's there to protect me and keep me healthy.
anyways, theres just a few random things that have happened to me in the past week.
